A hostel with the perfect location to stay in Cape Town
Once in Cape Town is a great hostel, located at the heart of the city, close to the main pubs, parties and restaurants. It´s also very easy to go from there to Table Mountain, the main atraction of Cape Town.

WHY IT´S A GOOD HOSTEL
The staff of Once in Cape Town is definitely a highlight – they are very friendly and talkative, always making sure you make new friends and helping you out with whatever you need.
They organize daily free activities, such as climbing Table Mountain and sunset at Lion’s Head. All you gotta do is sign up for the activities, and join them.
It´s very easy to go partying if you are staying there, as it´s located just besides Long Street, the main place for eating and partying in Cape Town.
Also, they have a great bar at the hostel, Yours Trully, a very good place to start the night and to meet people – not only guests, but capetownians as well.
The hostel has a beautiful garden area, very good to chill out, or to make a braai (barbecue) when it´s braai´s night.
It also has a well equiped guest’s kitchen, a good option for saving some money and cooking your own meals.

ROOMS, DORMS AND BREAKFAST
The hostel has comfy and well decorated rooms and dorms. It´s a big hostel, so they do have many options of both.
The rooms have double beds, private bathroom, wardrobe, fan, towels, soap and locker. The views from the windows are beautiful, you can see the mountains all around. The room where I stayed was far away from the bar area, so it was very quiet.
The dorms have private bathroom, lockers, reading light and include breakfast and free wifi. There are also girls dorms. The prices start from 170 rands per person. For the private rooms, the prices start at 325 per person. There are also family rooms, for 4 or 6 people.
The breakfast is served at YoursTrully, the bar. It´s a light but good one, you can either have muli with yogurt and fruits, or a croissant with butter and jam, both acompanied by coffee, juice and a fruit.
